Fido and Rogers are trademarks of their respective owners.
When cell phone service was being popularized in Canada, a provider called Fido offered a low-cost unlimited usage cellphone plan. Most other providers charged by the minute. Eventually one of those per-minute providers (Rogers) bought Fido and shut down the low-cost unlimited usage plan, except for existing clients of the plan. Now most clients pay more than they used to pay when Fido was independent.
Now, for remote tech support, Transparen is offering a low-cost unlimited usage tech support and maintenance plan. Most other service providers charge by the minute. Eventually, Transparen will switch over to charging by the minute for new clients, or will be bought by a bigger company that charges by the minute. And then low-cost tech support might never again be available, except to ongoing and existing clients who are on an unlimited usage plan.
Remember what happened to Fido and sign up to Transparen's unlimited usage tech support plan today.
